Dani Paxson, P.E., S.E.

Dani Paxson is a Structural Engineer and Regional Manager with Holmes NZ LP. She has spent more than 25 years leading project teams in both the US and New Zealand across a wide range of market sectors, while pouring energy into actively exploring, discussing, and advancing Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement within the construction industry both in the United States and New Zealand.

As part of her ongoing commitment to bring greater diversity to the profession and see more female engineers progress to leadership positions, Dani served on the Executive Board of Directors for Women in Construction Operations (WiOPS), was a member of the US National Council of Structural Engineers Association (NCSEA) Structural Engineering Engagement and Equity (SE3) Committee, and served on past planning committees for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) | Los Angeles Powerful Conferences.

Dani made the leap from California to New Zealand in early 2019 to join Holmes, transferring her passion for diversity from the US to New Zealand by serving as an establishing member of the Holmes Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee (Together at Holmes Initiative), sharing SE3 outcomes with the New Zealand construction industry, and engaging with New Zealand-based Diversity, Equity and Inclusion-focused organizations, conferences and panels.
