Kevin Aswegan is a Senior Associate at Magnusson Klemencic Associates in Seattle, Washington. He is the leader of MKA’s Performance-Based Design expert team and has designed tall buildings around the world for high wind demands, including 321 W 6th Street, which is the first project to utilize the new ASCE Performance-Based Wind Design guidelines. Kevin co-authored the recent ASCE Manual of Practice for Design and Performance of Tall Buildings for Wind, and is active in many areas of research related to performance-based design and wind engineering for tall buildings.
