As SmithGroup's director of structural engineering, Andrea Reynolds, P.E., S.E., MIStructE, LEED AP, oversees the structural design of concrete, steel, wood, masonry, and cold-formed metal structures for a diverse mix of clients and building types. I've worked on many interesting projects including sports stadiums, government facilities, research centers, museums both in the US and across the globe. She has developed solutions for extreme loading scenarios - blast, progressive collapse, hurricane, tornado and seismic. She is involved in the industry at large as the President for SEAMi and the Chair of the Structural Engineering Exam Committee that is responsible for writing the profession's licensing exam. She is also involved with the NCSEA SE licensure and SE3 committees In her free time she is a minority owner of 2 professional soccer teams!
