Jeannette Torrents, P.E., S.E., is the Director of Structural Engineering at JVA, Inc. and the Chair of the Structural Engineers Association of Colorado (SEAC) Snow Load Committee. Jeannette coauthored the 2016 Colorado Design Snow Load Report which provided part of the impetus for ASCE 7-22’s shift to reliability-based snow loads; Jeannette also served as a peer reviewer for the new ASCE 7-22 ground snow loads.
