Jessica Chen, P.E., S.E.
Senior Structural Engineer, Southern California Gas Company
Jessica serves as the current chair for the NCSEA Young Member Support Committee and served as SEAOSC's Younger Members Committee co-chair from 2020-2022. She is a licensed Structural Engineer in California, with project experience ranging from complex steel and concrete structural design, seismic assessment and retrofit, and large-scale infrastructure project management. She served on the ASCE 7-28 Seismic Sub-committee for ASCE/SEI 7 in the 2028 code cycle. Jessica was named SEAOSC’s Young Engineer of the Year in 2022 and was one of ASCE’s New Faces of Civil Engineering in 2018.
