Peter has chaired the SEAC ethics and legislature committee for seven years and has taught ethics at the University of Colorado Denver for 17 years. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer with UBSE, Inc., specializing in the field of engineering forensics on structural, civil, geotechnical, and plumbing engineering systems. Characteristic investigations include the evaluation and determination of damage from fire, flooding, snow loads, hail, soil movements, wind, vehicle impact, deterioration, construction defect, design defect, and vandalism. Assignments also include liability claims related to accidents, injuries, and wrongful death. Responsibilities frequently include evaluation, design, implementation, and inspection of repairs to damaged structures and engineering systems. Peter is also a Lecturer for the University of Colorado Denver for Civil Engineering students.
