Mr. Stoll is the CEO and a Principal Engineer at Knott Laboratory based in Denver, Colorado. He is a board-certified diplomat forensic engineer through the National Academy of Forensic Engineers and has worked on thousands of cases as an expert witness. He served as an airborne combat engineer in the U.S. Army before returning to earn his B.S. and M.Eng. degrees from the University of Louisville. He began his career as a design engineer and then found a passion for evaluating and repairing damaged structures. From this passion he sought out the field of forensic engineering at Knott Laboratory. He now oversees the engineering divisions of Knott and has been able to more broadly learn and influence the technology that is used in forensic investigations.
